Last week we cut and packed eight pigs from our farm.

Additionally, we cut and packed our first two beef from our farm.

During the process we were discussing how families love our premium beef for its versatility. That's why we're offering these two new products you are sure to enjoy.

Beef Fajita Meat:

Our beef fajita meat is pre-cut slices of dry aged steak so you don’t have to sacrifice flavor for the sake of convenience. Make fajitas, stir fries, or sandwiches in a flash, and enjoy the extra flavor imparted by the pasture-raised lifestyle of our dry aged beef.

Beef Kabob Meat:
Our beef kabob meat is pre-cut kabob's of dry aged steak made from a variety of Sirloin cuts from the back half of the beef. Sirloin is nice and lean, so you don't need to worry about gristle or fat getting in the way of a great meal. And, you don’t have to sacrifice flavor for the sake of convenience.

Skewer Kabob meat along with your favorite veggies, toss in a quick marinade, and grill over medium-high heat for a quick and delicious meal.

As always, we thank you for rewarding our hard work with your trust and support.

MS Ag Commissioner Visits NGF

Commissioner Andy Gipson Visits NGF - Monday, Commissioner Gipson (Andy) visited our farm for the third time. First, was after he was appointed and Senator Hill and I were working to increase the poultry exemption for Mississippi. The second time was after we built the USDA poultry processing plant that Andy supported our LWT Grant which helped fund about 50% of the cost. This visit was to support Andy’s efforts to both support existing farmers as well as encourage more people to farm and help feed our citizens.

Farm Improvements

Farm Improvements – Fresh water is a necessity for raising healthy animals on pasture. Until recently, we used an ICB tote on a small tralier that we would refill from our well. During the summer the frequency greatly increases in order to keep the chickens hydrated. So, I called my buddy at Southern Pipe and ordered pipe, fittings, etc. and then rented a trencher for May 16th to install 2,700 feet of 1.25 inch PVC pipe. Along the line we added 15 Plasson Quick Coupler Valves that we will hook to as we move the animals through our pastures.
